The Fall of Lucifer

The Fall of Lucifer--after the flood

I just finished the part in "The Fall of Lucifer" where the family of Noah were the only righteous people on the face of the earth who were saved from a world-wide flood.

I am absorbed in the renditions in the book of the way that things occurred in the early years of the earth. The description of Lucifer and Eve in Eden was unique and intriguing. Also, the description of how Lucifer attempted to once again destory man-kind through creating a new breed of demon-men on earth was fascinating.

I am nearly finsished with this book, and I can't wait to see how the final battles and struggles in this saga conclude.

 Fall of Lucifer #2

This story is incredibly intriguing to me. As I sit and read this book, my mind swims with the new insights and revelations that I have. I'm impressed at Alec's ability to create Lucifer's character as real and tangible. I feel as if this character actually existed. I sympathize with him, and I yearn for him not to choose to stray from God. At the same time, I am awed by his domination by sin and evil.

I never thought that Satan chose to rebel against God out of wounded pride, but it's a compelling reason, and an intriguing angle to take. Another intriguing aspect of this novel is the portrayal of the relationship that God has with His angels. There is so much supernatural insight in this book. It would make a thrilling movie.

 My First Blog Post

Today I started reading Wendy Alec's new book this year, "The Fall of Lucifer." I am so ensorbed in the idea of this story that I have to chronicle everything that goes on in my head as I read this.

It's an absolutely fascinating idea to me that Lucifer had two brothers before he became a fallen angel and cursed to be Satan. I never thought of Lucifer as a personal being with family and a history. I always thought he was just thrown from heaven in God's fiery rage. However, reading this book makes me sit and think about who he is personally--what he likes, what he doesn't like; what he desires and what he abhors.

It makes me shiver, sitting here reading this incredible story to think of Lucifer, the fallen angel from heaven, as a real and living being.
